Library Log-In

Because many resources are only accessible to you as a matriculated student at Divine Mercy University, you are required to log into the library. Logging in is required for both on-campus and off-campus students.  To log in, go to the library home page at https://library.divinemercy.edu. Select the Library-Log In Link and enter in your barcode and password.

You will be taken to a search page after logging in. You can either start your search here, or go back to the library home page. To go back to the library home page, where you were, on the Resources menu, select the Library website option in the dropdown menu that appears.

The Library Catalog

The library catalog, using the WorldCat Discovery service, is a great starting place to search to see what materials are available on a topic. One can view the DMU library’s holdings, as well as holdings in libraries worldwide. The DMU library’s holdings are listed first, at the top of the results list. The items that DMU has access to will be labeled as such. For example, ebooks will have a link where you can click to view the ebook. Some items are both available electronically and in print.

If DMU does not have direct access to an item, the item will have text underneath it that says "Held by other libraries worldwide". If DMU does not have direct access to an item, then the list will have "Held by other libraries worldwide" even at the top of the list.

For example, to search for the DSM-5, enter in "DSM-5" in the search box on the page.

The Library Databases and the A-Z List of e-Resources

The A-Z List of eResources includes a list of all journals that are owned electronically. The print issues are listed in the A-Z List as well. Searching the journal title in the A-Z list is the best way to search for specific articles online at Divine Mercy University.

Some databases do not share their data with the WorldCat discovery search, so it is best that these databases are searched for separately. To access these databases, navigate to the Library Databases page.

For electronic resources, logging into the library system is required.

Dissertations and theses can also be searched under the ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database on the Databases page.
