Welcome to the Writing Center page. 

Established to support DMU students' academic success, the Writing Center offers many opportunities for individuals to drop off a paper to have it checked, or opportunities to meet with a tutor or writing expert one-on-one. The following services are offered: 

• Tutor.com
• Turnitin Originality

NOTE: Available services are subject to change. 

Tutor.com is a service where students have the opportunity to drop off a paper for edits or meet with a tutor to go over it. It is available 24/7 and also statistics assistance is also provided. 

Turnitin Originality is a plagiarism-checking tool that can be used before submission. 

Important Disclaimer: Clinical reports, progress notes, and client information cannot be submitted.
Any such submissions violate HIPAA and will be reported to DMU.

Assignments containing your own personal information (ex. reflection papers) may be submitted at your own discretion.
